The restored outbuildings of Last Dollar Ranch
Restored Guest Cabin interior

Immediately after the purchase of Last Dollar Ranch, a five year restoration project commenced. The current owners’ crew restored the log outbuildings with dedicated attention to historical accuracy, sliding them off their original sites to place new, concealed concrete foundations, and carefully jacking apart the walls to replace single rotten logs. Each shed and barn has new chinking, roof boards and cedar shake shingles, and hand-forged iron hinges and latches.

They also restored the land itself by cleaning and repairing irrigation ditches, rejuvenating the hay meadows, replacing all boundary and cross-fences, and constructing new corrals and loading chutes.
The painstaking restoration gives the ranch its historical feel and the reinforced cabins will endure another century.
